It’s inevitable: things change over time. This exhibition allows us to see what has been and what is, in the same scene. Collecting historical photographs of Ballarat in a secondhand bookshop, he decided to make art with time, and capture the ever-changing city.

BIOGRAPHY
David Bailey is a Ballarat-based photographer and an avid collector of cameras. His love of photography started in primary school when he was introduced to film and darkrooms: a passion that has grown to where he is today, as an award-winning photographer and photography trainer.
