VOLUNTEERING WITH THE BALLARAT INTERNATIONAL FOTO BIENNALE
Are you passionate about photography, visual communication, creative communities and the arts?
We are now accepting applications from people wanting to join our team to assist with bringing the best of photographic arts to Australia and the world. Volunteers play an integral role in the everyday running of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, during our festival and throughout the year. You are provided with an enriching experience whilst learning new skills and opportunities to develop new networks.
A little about BIFB
The Ballarat International Foto Biennale was founded in 2005 and attracts significant International and Australian photographers and is one of Australia’s pre-eminent photographic festivals.
This year the Biennale is on for 60 days from 24 August to 20 October 2019 and is headlined by Chinese artist Liu Bolin who is best known for his Hiding in the City series.
Who can volunteer with BIFB?
BIFB relies on its large team of volunteers to make the magic happen. From the smallest details to the grandest projects, our volunteers are assisting with every part. We have teachers and technicians, students and secretaries, homemakers and hospitality specialists, carpenters and carpet layers, parents and photographers, receptionists and retirees, artists and archivists. It is likely you have skills and expertise we need and we aim to provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience during your time with us.
