Polo Jimenez’s first major exhibition in Australia started as a way to celebrate his 50th birthday, and has gone on to become a book and original installation. Featuring 67 cars from the year 1967, these pieces are analog medium-format diapositives, captured with a Hasselblad and displayed in light boxes.

BIOGRAPHY
Polo Jimenez is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. He was born in Mexico and has been based in Melbourne since 2009. He has won multiple awards through the AIPP, and his previous major exhibition was a retrospective of the six years he spent documenting bullfights in Mexico.
