Liu Bolin is a revolutionary Chinese artist renowned for his signature camouflage photographs. The artist hides himself and others in scenes that embody moments from history and culture. His photographs are a vehicle for social commentary, often highlighting key issues that define contemporary society.

This exhibition is an unmissable opportunity for students to see first hand these iconic artworks. Students will be both inspired and challenged by Bolin’s memorable and thought-provoking photographs. His mind-boggling technique and instantly recognisable subject matter makes this exhibition widely entertaining and accessible for students of all ages.

VCE STUDIO ART: ART INDUSTRY CONTEXT DAY
VCE Studio Arts, Unit 4

The Art Gallery of Ballarat in association with the Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) will present a full day Industry Context program for VCE Unit 4 Studio Arts students. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the spaces utilised in the display of a large arts festival with a focus on public and alternate gallery spaces.

Suitable For: VCE Studio Arts, Unit 4 students
Cost: $5.50 per student (accompanying teachers free and fee includes entrance to the BIFB exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ballarat)
